I'm just going to start this post by saying, it's no secret I love getting my hair done. In the past few years, I've had my hair colored many times. First, let me show you what my natural hair looked like. It was a very dark blonde color with a lot of red tint in it thanks to both my mom's and dad's side of the family.

I thought senior year of high school it would be fun to be brunette, so I had lowlights put into my hair, and let me tell you, it was dark.

I then took a break from coloring my hair and let it just fade out. But my fall semester of my freshman year of college, I decided to go dark once again.

I then once again let my hair fade and go back to a dirty blonde color. I left it that way for about 6 months and then decided I wanted to put highlights in my hair. So right before I moved back to college, I put highlights in my hair with a darker root smudge so the harsh lines would blend evenly when my roots started to grow out.

I then got my hair done the exact same way this past March and loved how light my hair was.

I've now recently decided to add more highlights in my hair, but this time I chose not to do a root smudge so that my hair could be lighter and brighter.

Here is a current picture of my hair which I absolutely love so much!

With having my hair this bright, it came with some damage with bleaching it. I have a few hair products that I absolutely love to use on my hair that I recommend to everyone! I include both my purple shampoo and purple conditioner that I use once a week to keep my hair icy and from getting brassy. I also share my favorite dry shampoo and dry texturizing spray that help keep my hair from falling flat and becoming too greasy. As well as my leave in conditioner I can't live without.

Let me start with washing my hair. I only wash my hair twice a week, typically at the start of the week and the middle of the week. This keeps my hair healthy by allowing the natural oils my hair produces to not be washed away too often. When I do wash my hair, I use my regular shampoo and conditioner one of the days and my purple shampoo and conditioner the other day.

The purple shampoo I use is by Kristin Ess at Target and it is her "The One Purple Shampoo." This is such a great affordable option that you can buy at Target. In the past, I have used Matrix Brass Off which I really like, but it tends to have a very strong odor that seems to irritate me sometimes. It also tends to leave a purple tint to my scalp that can be very noticeable. This one by Kristin Ess does not do that at all! The scent is barely noticeable and there is no purple tint on my scalp! It also keeps my hair more on the icy side and gets rid of all of the brass. It is $12 and available at Target!

Along with the purple shampoo, I also use "The One Purple Conditioner" by Kristin Ess. This works hand in hand with the shampoo to keep my hair more on the icy side. I tend to use this just about every wash since it is not as hash on my color as the shampoo is. It is also $12 and avaiable at Target.

After I get out of the shower, I always let my hair air dry. I tend to take showers at night so I just let my hair dry the way it wants to. For my leave in conditioner, I use It's a 10 Miracle Leave in Product. This helps my hair grow stronger and longer with all of the heat I put on my hair. I have been using this for years now, and I can't go a wash without it. It makes my hair so smooth and soft once it is fully dry. I repurchase it over and over. It's anywhere from $18.99 to $37.99 and I get mine at Ulta.

In between washes, my hair tends to get super oily. Since i've been bleaching it recently, it doesn't get as oily as fast as it used to, but it still gets oily after day 2. To help with this, I use the Batiste Dry Shampoo in the scent Coconut & Exotic. This is the best dry shampoo I have tried yet and it is cheap! You can get it for about $7.99 to $15.49 at Target or Ulta. I typically spray this on either sides of my main root, the underneath of my hair near the nape of my neck, and the crown of my head. This soaks up the oil so well, and doesn't show signs of my hair being greasy at all. It also smells AMAZING!

The last product I have to talk about is my dry texture spray. This is a new product for me, and I am LOVING it! I use the Kristin Ess Dry Texture Spray that I got at Target for $14. This gives my hair the best volume when it is starting to go flat. I spray this near my roots and rub it in after I get done straightening or curling my hair. It holds all day long and doesn't have a strong smell.

So that is everything I use on my hair! I have been absolutely loving these products lately and wanted to share them! I hope that you all enjoyed reading this, and don't forget to subscribe (It's Free!)
