Let's Talk About Nails

So, at the start of quarantine, obviously people were not going out and getting their nails done. This was causing many people to revert to doing their own nails at home. Now don't get me wrong, I love having my nails done and even got them done as soon as the nail salons opened back up to offer services. I usually am a gel manicure type of girl when it comes to what I gravitate towards, but let me tell ya'll, I have made the switch to dip powder and I am never going back!
During quarantine, I stumbled across this dip powder company called Revel Nail
Revel nail is a company based out of New Jersey that provides premium dip powder to customers all over the United States. Before deciding to try out Revel, I made sure to do my research on the different brands out there. After much thought, I decided that Revel was more than likely going to give me the best deal for my money.
For my first purchase, I decided to order the Passion for Pastels four color kit. This kit included all of the liquids needed for the bonding process (pro base, activator, finish gel, and gel thinner), and four colors ( ballet, lola, lush, and flirty). The kit was $45 total for all of the products. I thought this was a super good deal and decided to try it out.
Let me make it clear when I say I have never tried dip powder, let alone on myself. I was very nervous to start doing my own nails because quite honestly, I can barely paint my own nails.
I ordered the kit right in the middle of March when the quarantine first started so shipping took a while. After about a month, I finally received my kit and immediately wanted to get started. I began looking up tutorials on youtube and read countless posts in the Revel Nail Customer Community Facebook group that I am a part of.
I finally felt confident enough to try it out for myself so I decided to try flirty for my first time. It was a little tricky with all of the timing, but it was so fun and I had a great time doing it!
Since I started back in April, I now have over 30 colors and continue to change out my manicure every week! I am so happy that I learned how to do my own nails at home. This will save me a ton of money overtime and is a really great hobby to have.
I can't recommend Revel Nail enough! I encourage you to take the leap and try your own dip nails!
