Happy Saturday! I thought I would make a short extra post for you all!
I love Target as much as the next person, and can often find myself in there for an hour or more. That is exactly what happened today. My family came to visit today and they wanted to go to target to pick up a few things that they do not have where they live. I of course wanted to tag along and see what I could find (not that I needed anything).
I of course started in the clothing section because I love Target for basics. The first shirt I found, I got in two different colors because I loved them so much. They are cropped t-shirts that look so flattering with high waisted shorts. I got them in a maroon color and a periwinkle blue color as shown below. Did I mention they were $5 each? What a steal!

The next piece I got will be perfect for fall. I picked up this brown peplum tank top that I thought was the absolute cutest thing. I love shirts like this on me since I am not the smallest person, but it is so flattering on. I'm thinking of pairing this with a light cardigan or a cream corduroy jacket that I have from American Eagle. This tank was $12 and was my favorite find!

The last piece of clothing I found were these denim shorts. I am a little hesitant with the jeans from Target since I am so used to the stretchiness of American Eagle jeans. I love the distressing on the bottom hems of these shorts so much and think they look so flattering on. They also come down a little farther in the back so they are great if you don't want your butt hanging out. They were $15 and a great find!

My last Target item is actually a book I plan on reading with my cousins. We all love reading and thought it would be really fun to have a Cousin's Book Club. We decided to grab a book at Target and starting this month. My cousin wanted to read a thriller, so I picked up The Other Woman by Sandie Jones. I am really excited to read this since I typically stick to reading contemporary books.

And that was everything I got at Target today!
